As a kid, 30ish I guess as they always had you stand in front of the class do speak.

As an adult, probably 50-100ish for work related stuff and brothers wedding.

I’d guesstimate 101-500 as my largest group of people.

In 8th grade we had a huge project where we had to do a report on a certain subject in WWII and read it to the whole grade. Probably about 150 kids

Took public speaking in community college. Small class

Did a speech at my sister’s wedding in front of maybe 50 people. Small wedding

Used to call basketball games for a small college, so the largest crowd was probably 600 or so. Otherwise, radio doesn't count (larger audience).

I'm naturally an introvert but have spoken to crowds of 101-500 many times (easily over 40), mostly in the high 100s to low 200s.

I used to have religious leadership responsibilities and would be asked to share experiences, introduction to concepts and/or final words.

Spoke at a conference when I was teaching to about 2,500 people. I wasn't nervous, but if I have to speak in front of 30 people I get super nervous.

Haha, funny you mention that because I feel similar (although I've never spoken to a crowd as large as you).

The smaller the group, the more intimate and personal (you really notice the attention/eye contact at the individual level).

Absolutely! I hate feeling like everybody is just looking at me.
