Default Another "FNG!"

Hey everyone! I just wanted to briefly introduce myself since I am new to the forum. I've been out of collecting basketball cards since '97-98ish and just picked up collecting again this past summer of '08. Wow, what a change the hobby scene has gone through in the past 10 years! It's all new to me with jersey cards and signed cards in packs etc. Its definitely become an addiction now!

Do you collect any specific players?

Well when I was last into the hobby, my favorite players to collect were Garnett, Christ Webber, Shaq, Jordan, and Anfernee Hardaway. Now, KG is still one of my favorite players along with Lebron.

As for my avatar, yes indeed that is Valentino Rossi's face on top of his helmet. He wore that helmet in a race once from last season. He's a MotoGP racer for the Fiat/Yamaha team if you didn't already know. I guess you could say hes the "Michael Jordan" of the super bike world.

Yeah, now a little about Moto-GP stuff...my brother in law is a huge Nicky Hayden fan.

I end up buying him DVDs of MOTO-GP races for Christmas or his B-day all the time or something narrated by Ewen McGregor LOL

Sweet! If you really want to surprise him, buy him tickets to the next MotoGP race at Indy! MotoGP only races 2 tracks in the US, Indy and Laguna Seca. I went to the Indy race this past fall and it was definitely a race to remember, not to mention the torrential down pour of rain and wearing poncho's the entire race weekend lol. But to actually hear a MotoGP bike roaring around the track in person, is indescribable!
