(EISNER CALL FOR TOPPS; MULTI-MEDIA)

Michael Eisner isn't saying much yet but he has confirmed one thing; Topps will be a multi-media company.

KNX 1070 News Radio's Frank Mottek caught Eisner just before he spoke at a conference in Los Angeles last week. Mottek told The Brill Report, Eisner is looking for more deals in the business world and really liked Topps. While he would not be specific in the brief interview he did give some insight when asked about the future of Topps.

"Topps is a good company, an iconic company," Eisner said. "We have multi-media plans for Topps."

Eisner with his Tornante Company worked with Madison-Dearborn to purchase the grand-daddy of sports card makers from the Shorin family and the stockholders. The sale price was $385 million and closed last week.

Things have changed so much at Topps now a habitual look at the stock tickers finds nothing. It no longer exists as a public company.
