2009 Elite (and other 2009 products)

What kind of product is 2009 Elite Football and why has it dropped below $50 in many places. Aren't both 2010 and '11 up near/over $100 per box with just one more hit per box.

I know 2009's rookie class isn't the best but Stafford is looking really good, but at the Philly Show I was at today all the '09 products looked ridiculously low. Especially the Elite which was at $49 which is traditionally a really good product.

What do you guys think about Elite at that price. I've only been in the hobby for a year or so, so I don't remember many breaks of it, and how it was liked when it was released.

Personally I think the 2009 Rookie class is pretty Solid,

Hakeem Nicks
Percy Harvin
Clay Matthews
Mark Sanchez
Matthew Stafford
Michael Crabtree
Josh Freeman
Shonn Greene
Knowshon Moreno

It can be a tough product to do well with. The college pictures probably dont help either. For $50 I think its worth a shot. I bought a box at the philly show yesterday for $49, unfortunately didnt do all that well.

Just be aware that the TOTC Sanchez auto is a redemption, and redemptions from 2009 Elite have expired. Panini may give you a replacement but I just wanted to bring this to your attention.

Elite has some college unis also if you don't those then you may want to go with Classics.

All of the 2009 rookies in 2009 Elite are in NCAA unis.

True but when I said some I was meaning not the entire set as in Rookies & Vets. Sorry

Ok. From your previous post it would be easy to interpret it as some of the rookies are in college unis and some were not.

I picked up a few boxes of 2009 products for under $50 from my guy. Not much, just a box of Prestige and a box of Gridiron Gear. Didn't get my $48 or so back from it, not by a long shot.
