New Ebayer, need some help

How long does it normally take for an item to get listed? I heard anywhere from a 1/2 hour to an hour for it to show up on searches. Well its been 3 hours and nothing. The only way you can find it is by item # in the search.

Even when I look at items I am selling, it lists nothing. whats the problem? Is it because I am a new seller?

here is an example, I got this one on sale #290174717463, but unless you put the number in the search field, it does not show up under any searches...whats the deal? and why isn't it under my name for items I am selling?

i've personally seen anywhere from instant to a couple hours.. maybe a lot of people are selling at the ame time?

I dunno but its really pissing me off, I wrote them an e-mail but they won't get back to me for a couple of days so I dunno what the problem is.

After working all night 3rd shift, they finally showed up 12 hours after I posted them....wow...has anyone ever hadto wait that long?

Not that long, but I've had as others have said 3-4 waits. Think it takes their server that long to process all the listings, especially with evening auctions (probably the one downfall of turbo lister...everyone gets 25-1000 auctions ready to run, then some 8-10 pm everyone hits upload to ebay).......just hope yours wasn't a 24 hr auction, if it was then I'd be upset. If its a 3-7 day, probably not much harm done.

Heck mine have been listed for 3 days and very few even have watchers!
