Help me out here plz, invest

So I cleared PayPal a week ago to take a little break from ebay, meanwhile i had a case open for an item not as described, i got my refund and mailed it back a couple days ago and now I have exactly $114.68 left over and I am looking to buy SOMETHING.

I want something that generally doesn't have to go up in value but definatly something that won't go down.

Should I buy up GU stuff of current all-stars and wait for the lockout to end, or get one auto of bird/kareem/magic , etc.

Should I buy another sport, another player?

Any suggestions? And as of now I have no intentions of working on my PC because I am moving my PC to another room in the house, re-organizing EVERYTHING and it is a big mess.

If you're looking for an investment, buy a sure-thing at a discount price, i.e. a LeBron auto (might be difficult at $114) or patch, Durant, etc.

Personally though, I'd go for a legendary player's card, maybe a nice Bill Russell autograph.

John Wall auto's seem to be going for pretty cheap now. I think he has a big upside. Also the same with Blake Griffin.

lol some people might hate me for this but i think both of them are just so-so. honestly blake griffin isnt really that great IMO, he's vince carter 9 years ago, granted hell be very popular for a few years but once he gets 10 years in the league his value will drop HARD

im looking for a card that will at least bring me back my money in years from now

Then I would go for Michael Jordan stuff. Greatest of all time so you can't go wrong there.

If you can, I would certainly recommend buying a Kobe jersey-auto, probably from Panini Gold Standard. Kobe autos seem to be tanking in price right now, but they should go up once he starts doing well again and the season starts up.

I'd go after a Shaq or Ewing autograph... Or since you mentioned Magic/Bird - a nice 1993-94 Hoops #MB1A Magic/Bird Comm Auto. Can't go wrong with that one!

KOBE ROOKIE CARDS.....there arent many shots as sure as these too NOT go down...as specified you dont need something that may not go up (which I can almost guarentee they do) but KOBE RCs going down is like hell freezing over (at least for the higher end ones that you can pick 2 or 3 up for under $114) A Kobe Chrome will take more then $114 but either way you have your choices.

Since it's a redemption, of course you'll have to wait....waittt....& wait... to get the card but ya can't go wrong with a kobe auto.

Kobe autos have fallen so fast and so hard and will continue to fall. Not a recommended investment IMO
