Platinum Case + Chrome Retail Good Luck Continues... Superfractor!

I went to Wal*Mart and bought all 25 rack packs, and I also grabbed 13 Blasters. Plus I had a 6 box case of platinum waiting for me that I got for a good price.

Items that I will be selling will be on Ebay soon.

First I opened the rack packs, got a bunch of the usual nothing huge, but the best I stuff I got was...

Cam Newton Base x3

I then opened the blasters and had some better hits...

Finally I opened my case of Platinum and had even better luck!

I've never pulled a 1/1 until now and the I pulled 2! And I'm a Patriots fan so it's even more exciting, I just hope he gets some playing time!

Not trying to be a jerk but there aren't many people here who will congratulate you for your good deal at Wal-Mart. In fact you might want to edit that part out. Did you think that they sold for 4.99 or did you know that was the wrong price?

I just want to give some context to my original statements because I went back and reread and they did sound kind of like I was trying to get away with something intentionally.

I have never purchased or seen the price of the chrome rack packs prior but I read alot of good things about them on the forums so I wanted to try them out. When I got to Wal*Mart they were hanging on a rack labled NFL Rack for 4.99. Every single hook said 4.99, and I thought they were 4.99 and was thinking that's why everyone said they were a good deal on the forums. I grabbed what was there which was 25. At the register he hit count 25 and scanned 1 pack and total was a bit more than I expected so I asked how much they rang up as. He said 8.98, I just said oh ok they hook said 4.99. I had every intention of still paying the total but he just said I think they are supposed to be 8.98 but went right ahead and re-entered them for 4.99 a piece without me asking him too.

So yes, I could have said oh no don't do that I'll pay full price, but I didn't and that's the story.

Now lets talk about the cards, I didn't intend to start an "epic" post.

That's cool I'm not trying to start in on you. It's just that there are some people that have posted before about intentionally deceiving retail store employees and bragging about it and it usually doesn't end well for them. I work in retail and whenever something is mislabeled we always honor the labeled price regardless of what it rings up for so I understand why they did this.

You got some excellent cards there especially from the platinum. Congrats on the solid break.

Per walmartian rules of pricing... if it's labled on a rack or sign @ Price X then the customer only has to pay that price.
