Default Interesting Topps Football break

In my (2) jumbo cases so far I pulled a dual Tomlinson/Jim Brown auto, a nice Polamalu 2clr Pro Bowl Patch #/25, a Polamalu Pro Bowl jersey, a Peyton Manning jersey and a Rookie Premiere auto (Irons) .. all from 1 case!! The only thing close to that in the 2nd case was a Frank Gore Pro Bowl jersey!! I also had a semi-hot box which included (6) autos and 1 pack that had all rookie cards!! Go figure. The Hobby Masters collation is stupid ... these cards are very tough to get and I got 2-3 duplicates!!! By the way, along with another post ... there are LOTS of damaged cards ... I've got a stack about 1 1/2 inches high of cards that I wouldn't give to my hamster to eat, let alone sell.

I had 1 pack contain a Jarrett Rookie Premiere Auto, as well as a Kenny Irons and Brandon Jackson Performance auto, and a Greg Olsen gold card #'d to 52.

I'm with you on the damaged cards. Had 1 pack with 3 cards that were literally torn in half and a ton with dinged corners. The black borders defintiely make it tough to put a nice looking set together.

Collation on Jumbos is horrible. I didn't get any Gold parallels in my case but I get a RB Royalty Single Auto 1:1,533 and a RB Royalty Dual Auto 1:3,200. I'm certainly not complaining. I did get alot of damaged cards as well.

Damn - WTH is going on with Topps ? Sounds like its feast or famin with the Jumbo cases. While its GREAT if your lucky enough to get one of the loaded cases it really blows to get a case of nothing but drek. Its not just Topps, its all of them. I've never heard of an industry with so many quality control issues across the board especially with all the shortages and damaged cards. Makes you wonder how much time and money (or lack there of) they put into that department and its workers ?

Yes, there are almost always cards that I have to send in to Topps after I break a case. Even Triple Threads baseball, which is supposed to be a 'premium' brand was bad. 2007 Football is the worst I have ever seen .. chips, dings, cuts, creases, etc. I had (2) jumbo packs that had creases in about 1/2 of the cards.
