Default My entry for worst ever Lineage Case Break

I actually converted my first shipment of Game Used Card to Blowout into 16 boxes (1.6 cases) of 2011 Topps Lineage Baseball.

I busted the six loose box first and hit a Canary Relic, 3D #/99, Veteran Relic and a Johnny Pesky Auto. I thought what wonder and excitement could be in store for my unopened case. I will save this surprise till the end.

Here is a summary of the pulls:

Canary Relic #/10 - BJ Upton

Sticker 1952 Autos - All the usual suspects. Best one Clay Bucholtz

On Card 1952 Autos - Bob Friend, Dick Groat, Roy Sievers, Chuck Diering, Johnny Groth, Bobby Shantz, Bill Pierce (Pretty decent names)

On Card 1952 Auto Redemptions - Johnny Pesky (is he rare?), Harry Perkowski (x2), Matt Batts, Ted Lepcio

On Card Rookie Reprint Autos - Sandoval (x2), Carmona (x2), Kinsler Redemption

Veteran Mini Relic - Bob Gibson

Mini Relics - Total garbage

3D #/99 - Choo and Teixeira

Are you wondering what my "case hit" was in the unopened case? Would you believe the 3D #/99 Choo. No canary, no decent auto, no veteran relic. Ugghhhh

I will have another $900 or so of credit coming in the next few days and wondering what I should buy. My original thought was to build a master set of Lineage, but this case deflated me.

On a postitive note, I absolutely love the on card 1952 Veteran Autographs, 3-D Insert Set and Stand Ups.

Why, oh why, would you use the credit toward buying Lineage? Good luck on the master set.

Seemed like a good idea at the price point. I have done worse and came out with far fewer PC autographs.

True. I do really like the 52' autos and the break seems well worth the work you did for the credit. As far as your next break, do you like BDPP?

I am not a big Prospector because I do not take the time to study up enough to know the key times to buy and sell.

My additional credit did not get posted today so I have more time for my decision. 2011 Finest seems interesting at the price. BDPP is also a consideration.
