back into collecting after almost 20 years away

Hello everyone,

My name is Brad Buckert.
Just wanted to say hi and to let everyone know that I am back into collecting and have already opened quite a bit of product. 4 boxes of 2011 Topps Triple Threads, I "hit" 1/1 Carlos Santana White Whale and a 1/3 "Yankees", Whitey Ford, CC and Mariano Rivera along with a couple of other decent "hits" I will include a scan of the 1st four. I am open to trading and selling. I have also opened a case of 2011 Bowman Platinum, 2 cases of Bowman Chrome, a case of 2011 Topps Update Series and I'm preparing to open a case 2011 BDPP(I'm trying to pick up on your codes and such...lol) and a case of 2011 Topps Finest as well as 4 boxes of 2010 Bowman BDPP and a box of 2010 Bowman Platinum and I'm purchasing a case of 2010 Platinum within the next week. I will post all the hits and do my best at providing scans of them. I am not very good at computer stuff, but will get help when needed.
I look forward to being a member of this site and hope to do make many new friends.

Thanks and I will be posting and scanning a lot when I have time available starting now.

Welcome back to collecting & to the forum! Do you just collect baseball or other sports as well & what teams or players?

Looking to sell mostly right now. Especially the cards that I have recently opened. Of course I could not figure out how to post a scan of the Triple Threads cards I mentioned, but I will get some help. I have always been a prospect collector and will probably continue to do so as well as build sets of the products I open.
I really only collect Baseball and Hockey as I've grown tired of the NFL and I have never been a basketball fan. However it does not mean I would not buy those products if there was a once in a lifetime prospect/player coming along...lol.

My favorite football team is the Vikings and has been for 42 years. I will be 50 in February. I used to like the Buffalo Braves in the NBA when Bob McAdoo was one of the best players in the league.
As for hockey, I am an all-time Bruins fan and also followed Gretzky his whole career and also really like the Avalanche following them from Quebec with the Statsny's to Colorado with Sakic, Forsberg and Roy.
As for baseball, the Phillies are my team and Mike Schmidt was my 1st sports hero. I also like the Blue Jays, Rays and I have followed the Mariners since Griffey, Jr. was drafted.
I guess that answers those posts and I will continue to post replys and hits as soon as I can.
