Default How do people get GAI Certification so cheap??????

I was looking on eBay and i saw alot of autographs with GAI Authentication, for example:

A Darron Thomas Autographed Oregon Ducks football, the cheapest i could find the football unsigned in a lot of 5/6 was $20 apeace so it costs $20 to get the ball and he turns around and sells it autographed for about $32 bucks included GAI Certification? How do they afford that?

cause GAI is the worst one out of psa, jsa, etc. GAI does not hold the lust or value because they authenticate TONS of fakes. thats why you see mantles at 200 GAI certified-prolly not real if it is too good to be true

Agreed - among the autographed memorabilia community, anything with GAI we stay away from. Stick with JSA or PSA.

It's called bulk submission. The more you submit, the cheaper it gets.

The same with the footballs. The more you buy , the cheaper it gets.

This is true. GAI just throws a sticker on and gives it its approval without even looking at the auto so the more you submit the cheaper it becomes

Thats what i figured as most of the autographs authenticated by GAI looked fake. compare the LaMichael James Gai and some Psa autos to real IP autos.

Or they just bought it off somebody else who was dumping stuff and are now reselling it. I've got a bunch of 8x10's that are PSA/DNA certified and they all cost me $8 or less. I know that at a local show in Chicago about a year ago they had a bunch of people there doing a signing and then they had a PSA/DNA table set up with two guys and it was $7 to get anything you just got signed authenticated by them. Since you just got out of the line from the signing it was obvious that the item was real so they just slapped a sticker on your item and added it their database.
