Default I was scammed. Please stay away everyone - dean3cobain55
This guy offered to trade me his cam newton auto card for my ken griffey 9.5 bgs rookie card

We both promised to ship the same day; he didn't ship, I did

Gave bogus excuses

After digging around I find that hes been scamming on this board for years, using different names, but the same address

and has jipped people to the tune of hundreds of dollars

He links his account to different trusted ebay sites

Luckily I am a cop, and live a half hour away from him...all I can say is the scam will not continue


ALSO, his previous usernames have metsfanjoe

PLEASE STAY AWAY

At least you should be able to take matters into your own hands by possibly slapping him with an arrest or a nice fine. Good luck!

Man does that suck, but it sounds like you'll probably have the connections to see some action take place against him.

Thanks for the head-up, and can you please update this as things happen? Especially any update that involves you getting that beauty of a card back.

Also curious where in NJ this guy is from. Some guy from the same town I live in tried to scam me. Lol.

Well he linked his account to an ebay account that did not belong to him, which is identity theft (believe it or not)

He used a fake name regarding an address, which is mail fraud

And he lied to a police officer, fully knowing that I am one

Hes digging his own grave

If you live 30 mins from him, why didn't you just do an in person trade? Each party meets half way. 15 minute drive each way saves you a lot of hassel.
