Default My Best Value Box Yet!!!

UPDATE!!

Here's what Topps Sent me in place of the mangled cabrera

Cano Auto /25

Went for a Topps Blaster at Walmart, but they were out, so I grabbed this lonely value box sitting on the shelf.

Hope Diamond /60
Miguel Cabrera Jersey Auto /25 (Damaged, but I'll be sending it back)

Wow, nice break. Too bad I can't find any more of those boxes. Be careful asking topps for a replacement. You might get the shaft in return.

So you are saying he should keep a card with a chunk taken out of the side?

How are all these cards having the same damage done to them? is it a machine problem, or the way the value boxes are being handled?

It has to have something to do with the manufacturing or packaging of these all-star relic autos. I've pulled relics, and other stuff from these value boxes that weren't damaged. It's only the All-Star Relic Autos that have this consistent damage.

Every time (3) I've sent an auto back to topps I never got the same in return or even upgraded. Maybe they're better now or have a stock pile of these material cards made from the missing pieces of the ones they sent out. I will say that is a CHUNK now that I look at it. Good luck.

I hit a signed All Star relic out of this 2 weeks ago, and mine wasn't damaged. However, I did get a jersey card that did have minor roller marks on it, but it's not the eyesore the Cabrera is.

Absolutely not. They will send you something similar. Another guy sent one off and received an upgrade Brian McCann, same card, perfect condition. So send it off and they'll take care of you.

I was responding to the person who said "be careful" about sending in to topps for a replacement because he might "get the shaft." The card, as it is, is worthless.

nice replacement. It is unbelievable how many cards are coming out of the value boxes like the cabrera you got.
