Default Busted a Case of 2010 Upper Deck

Someone had these on clearance for $359 down from 750 so I gave it a shot. It was a 12 box hobby case. I don't have scans cause I'm at work but I did pretty well. One of my boxes had a jersey in every pack! I guess that's an Upper Deck hot box. Overall I got 38 jerseys and 12 autos plus the 2 big hits that made my day:

Gary Sheffield 500 Club bat
Ichiro/Daisuke/Hideki Matsui Exquisite triple patch /25 with 3 sick patches

The last triple that sold went for 375 and my patches blow those away.

If anyone needs base, inserts, golds, or jersey/autos, shoot me a PM or respond here.

Scans of the better stuff added:

Very nice hits, great case, but just a heads up, not supposed to mention competitors on the site....

Is it really a competitor if Blowout doesn't have them in stock? lol Nevertheless, I'll change it

Don't forget to look for the double take variations. Should be 1-2 in a case of hobby and they have the potential to bring you as much money as anything after your two big hits if you market them right.

There are also numbered base cards (gold foil on the front). I like popping open 2010 UD, but man, that's a lot of cards to sort through!

It sure is a lot of cards. I got 10 of the UD gold, 6 from the regular set and 4 from Portraits.

Wow, I never heard of those. I'm glad you said something. I'll go through them when I get home today.

This should help...
http://www.blowoutcards.com/forums/b...take-list.html

If you sell with 30 day BIN/BO you should be able to get $10-$20 each for them, if not more. I've seen singles sell as high as $75, but that was closer to when they released. Not really a hot item that gets looked for constantly since so many are unaware they even exist. So I'd avoid running a short auction if possible.

I appreciate the info. Looks like I have a ton of base cards to sort!

How does the Exquisite make it into an UD box? Any good autos?

2010 UD Exquisite was supposed to be inserted throughout like 5 UD products in 2010. Since they only made one product that year, not all the exquisites were released. Therefore they are very scarce and sought after.

Exquisite cards were inserted 1 per case and most were base cards #d /75. They were supposed to be in all UD products that year but the lawsuit stopped any more releases so no one really knows how many actually made it to packs.

As for the autos, they stunk. Clay Bucholz was the best one.

I sold a Conseco/Eckersley Exquisite patch for just under $300. Let it ride in an auction. This set was not supposed to include patch Exquisites and they are VERY hard to find.

Also, someone had an Ichiro, Ken Griffey Jr. Exquisite patch that they had a Buy it Now of $100 on. They WAY undersold on that card. Could have been a $350 card or so. A Ripken single patch sold for $800.

Sweet case! The Inge patch looks really sad next to the triple patch.

You convinced me to go in on a case of this stuff. The Site you got them from had 09/10 UD Basketball retail for dirt cheap a few weeks ago, and I missed it...not missing this!

That's exactly why I bought it. The case hit, even if it's a base exquisite can get you between $30-$300(Ripken base). If you get really lucky and hit an exquisite patch, your case is paid for. Also, if your a set collector, you should get 5-6 sets and all the insert sets except the portraits. The only thing mine lacked was a decent auto(clay bucholz being the best). Of course I can't complain about that though.

Did they make a lot of insert sets? Cause a case that can build a master set or two is awesome for me.

Its wierd because the patches I have from this product are sick. This has to be the first one color I've seen.

LOL at that Brandon Inge patch. The close-up isn't even Brandon Inge, it is Josh Anderson. That is probably an uncorrected error. Nice job on the Exquisite!
