Can someone clarify the difference in the parallels from 2011 Topps Series 1 & 2 & update baseball for me?

I thought the parallel from series 1 & 2 was called diamond anniversary platinum, and that the parallels from update were both a platinum version and a cognac version. Let me know if I am off base or what....

Platinum diamond parallels are available through all 3 sets but cognac is available only in update series and it has cognac parallels from series 1 2 and update. Same goes for the hope diamond parallels too
