2011 Topps Five Star Case Break - Results

This is where our results will go once the break has happened. We are going to be breaking Feb. 24th around 1am Eastern, so this will be the 23rd 10pm Pacific. Sorry for having to break so late, but this is due to a scheduling issue at work. It will be done live on BlogTV as I always do...and recorded for YouTube as well. I will be packing everything up the very next day and shipping out once everything is done.

Please be sure to leave me a few posts to save spots for Scans, etc after this one.

It was all done by a draft. Each person picked the teams they wanted. The list was randomized by a moderator so there would be no questions about how the random was done.

It was a toss up with Miami and Tenn I should have went Tenn but Miami is my PC team and Marino is in this too...

Looking at a Wednesday arrival of the package. Got the e-mail today and just checked and it's coming from two states away, left today. Now...Wednesday is my duty day, but they will either leave it with a neighbor in the apartment or leave a notice. Either way we're okay as I know it will have to be signed for and not just left there. If it's a notice, I will drive back out to the UPS location and get it. If with a neighbor, then I will get it from them. 99.9% likely I will have it in the apartment Thursday morning/afternoon before I run off for my 8 hour shift and then come back home and break!

I am ready to hang UPS by parts that no man should be hung from. They said they would redeliver today (since they only let you pick stuff up between 5 and 6:30 pm.) That's it. So, they said between 9:30 and 1:30...It's now almost 3 and nothing. I have to leave shortly and if they don't get here soon, I am going to have to leave with no one here to get it. Grrrr!!!! This is urking me just a little. I will keep you guys updated. I think this might end up being my last group break since UPS can't tell what time of day it is. Just bad timing all around. I will let you guys know what happens.

Well here's a shocker. Never showed before I left. I am even running late. Give me an idea of what you want me to do. Break it as soon as I get it tomorrow so I can ship it in time hopefully. Would be recorded and would still go live. Or break at night and try to have them ready for Saturday if I can get there ehen they are open. Or even wait til Sunday night and ship first thing Monday. I am sorry guys and may nix the NT break I was plotting because of this. I will check back later.

Whatever works is good by me. I would rather you take the time needed so you enjoy the break with us. It always seems that when things go bad the harder you try to fix it the harder it gets.

Yeah. They didn't try til 6pm to deliver but had at 12:30 yesterday. Lol. Just never know what they are going to do. I will try like heck to break tomorrow night then.

Update: I put in for same day will call. I can't sit at home ALL day tomorrow wondering when the heck they will show up. So, once I find out if I can pick it up early, I will. If not, I'll be standing at the door at 5pm when they open. I did not want to risk not being able to get it tomorrow at all as I have to take a few things up to the hospital for my mother since she's in rehab post knee surgery. (She's fine...completely voluntary surgery.)

So, looking like I will try and break tomorrow night, assume I don't get called in to work. I will update with time, but looking somewhere around 6-7pm Eastern if all goes well.
