I do baseball and football. Don't ask me about basketball cards. They suck.

I wouldn't
If you get the plates signed, and you sell them down the road, you would have ruined the personal collection pieces of someone elses. I think plates look hideous signed in general. You are esentially ruining a 1/1 with the only value being what you value it as. I got 1 signed plate signed before and I regretted it (good thing it was a below average guy from bowman).
dont get me started on the super....

I agree with everyone who says to get none signed. I love getting plates signed, but I only get them signed if I plan on keeping them for a long time. If you plan on selling them as a complete rainbow, then DO NOT get them signed. None of them. It will kill the value and drop the price you will get, a bunch. A lot of people don't like buying IP autographs, because unless you have a video or pictures showing the player actually signing the card, then the buyer has no idea if it was truly signed by the player or not.

I personally think it is just dumb in general, white whales are one thing but it is another to RUIN a card that some people would collect as is. It is just like having a card with a bent corner on a card, it lowers the value and no one would want it.

Autographs don't in the least ruin the plates.
