Default Linsanity needs to be benched

It's clear the current starters aren't working, so why not try to start Baron instead. Reports have said Baron likes to run plays through Melo and Amare instead of running the D'Antoni system. Lin can then come off the bench and run wild with the bench with shooters around him that is willing to stand out the corners.

That or D'Antoni needs to be fired.

agreed. d'antoni needs to grow some balls - and either have the courage to bench either jlin or melo. Those two simply cannot play together.

Melo is killing the pick and roll. He's suppose to stay on the wing, but keeps creeping in towards the elbow. JLin trying to run D'Antoni offense like he did with Melo out, and Melo trying to run sets for himself when he gets the ball.

Lin is like an Ed Hardy shirt...Everyone was buying it - and then a week later you wonder WTF you were doing - this is the worst looking shirt ever.

Just saw that on twitter - just made me laugh.

Awesome, I can't stand those shirts. Although it is kind of sad for his card prices. I was doing pretty good selling his stuff.

baron davis is washed up. Yeah the media hyped up lin to icon status way too early, but he's playing extremely well for someone who's practically just getting his career started in the nba. sky is the limit for this kid. now we'll get truely measure his skill set now that dumtoni is gone.

You all still think they have a shot at the playoffs? If so, which seed?

Does it really matter who plays point guard now? Shoot, I could play point guard for the Knicks. It's easy...

Step 1: Pass the ball to Carmelo
Step 2: Watch Carmelo shoot
Step 3: Repeat Step 1

7th or 8th spot. It's not absurd at all to still considered them to make the playoffs. They are only a few games behind. They have star power in STAT and Melo, you can only hope they get it together.

Actually you got it the other way around, now that D'Antoni is gone it's wrap for Lin. Only reason Lin was so successful was because he's been running a offense that was tailor made for a true PG, the same offense that turned Nash into one of the best PG's ever (not comparing Nash to Lin so don't get crazy, just the system).

Any chance Lin had of developing into a quality PG is gone with D'Antoni, I'm sure Woodson will keep the offense intact the remainder of the season, but who ever comes in to replace him won't be tailoring their offense around a unproven 2nd year PG. Especially if it were someone like Jackson, the Triangle would be a death knell for Lin.

Oh well it was nice while it lasted Jeremy, at least you are going to get paid well in the offseason so the NBA can wring every last penny out of your heritage and image.

A strong willed player can adjust to any system, I like to think Lin is one of them.

Because he has a long track record to back it up right?

I dont think Lin is finished or going to be out of the league but Linsanity is over, this is now Melo's team and he wont get as much shots or chances as before. Its gonna be tough to improve and get better when you wont be shooting or even handling the ball all the time.

No because he's Asian and he graduated from Harvard.

My guess is that Lin still has the support of the Asian community still buying up all his cards at high prices.
