I'm a huge fan of the Rangers, but I won't be buying one of those. I don't care to much for hot dogs and I like mine plain. I would rather go to dollar dog night. $26 for one or $26 for 26? Hmmmm, not a hard choice.

Every park has something like that. They're actually usually the best deals considering that regular dogs are like $6.

Last year they introduced a 3lb pretzel....there was a spattering of publicity about it. I saw a few of them consumed at the Ballpark...typically by multiple people sharing....but not that many. It's a novelty item, nothing more. I'm sure they will introduce a giant nacho plate next year or something equally ridiculous. Just a way to keep their name in the paper before the season starts.

-That's not a 'cheeseburger' It's a Luther Burger. Best if they grill the doughnut

And it's delicious.

lobo_hacker, who notes the Luther at the ballpark for the Gateway Grizzlies in Illinois clocks it at a waist-slimming 1,000 calories

I used to work at the ballpark, and dollar dog night just meant putting fresh buns on all the old dogs. $26 is pretty ridiculous, though they say it's equal to six normal dogs.
