Default In person auto card suggestions?

I just was looking at a ridiculous Aaron Rodgers PC on the forum here and got to thinking....

I live in the hometown of Aaron Rodgers and I haven't seen him yet but I've just missed him at the golf course several times throughout the last 6 years since I've lived here...I just got back into collecting FB and Basketball cards and recently I put an Aaron Rodgers card in each of my vehicles along with a sharpie just in case I happen to run into Aaron at Starbucks or the Golf Course.
I got to thinking about it and wanted to get some input about which card (or other piece of memorabilia) would be the best to keep in the glove or trunk of the car to get auto'ed? I've heard that in-person autos are valued at only what the price of the persons' signature is worth and it basically voids the value of the card because it's written on and therefore worthless...
I don't really care about the resale value as much as the quality of the item / auto for displaying purposes but would like to know the best thing to have auto'ed value-wise too.

I hope I didn't ramble too much and that I made sense...
also, I'm new here so don't flame me too much if this question has been asked before...Thanks!

If I were you, I'd pick up a Packers mini helmet to keep with you...if you want to stick to cards, you can never go wrong with Score cards for in person signatures. Make sure you avoid glossy cards, too! Even if you prep them, they can still bubble sometimes.

A Mini helmet is a great idea, what I am liking now are the new base National Treasure cards, they have a perfect spot for an auto...

Outside of a card, a mini-helmet would be the easiest to have on you.

Couldn't hurt to have both

Either way, good luck man!

8x10 would be the cheapest to keep in quantities.
