I just sold to my first NFL player

I had read the accounts of members selling to players and their families on the old board, but it hadn't happened to me, until today.
I was clearing out my lots of UD Rookie Premiere cards, and sold a lot of Derek Hagan cards to Derek Hagan. I looked at his bio, and sure enough, the package is shipping to the town he played high school in. Very cool.

if i were drafted & the card companies wanted to have a contreact with me, i would make so that i received a free case of each product released for that year........... i could've been that good if it wasn't for the fact that my hand eye coordination is about as good as a 5 year old.

anyway, it's always a fun thing to sell to a player of his/her family.

i had my first last week with tristar. i sold an auto of chris parmelee to chris parmelee. maybe the best thing is he is in the twins organization and the local triple AAA team is the twins so i told him i would see him when he gets here.

That's cool guys. My recommendation is to offer more cards of themselves or that you will source more cards for them, then trade for some autograph items.

I used to do that for some rookie basketball and rookie football guys in the past. It jump started my Auto Jersey collection.


Hagan was sweet to watch at ASU! My alma-mater.

Dan Gilbert (cavs owner) (sold lebron cards this year) a couple weeks ago(in miami Uniform cards)
SHOP AMERICAN AIRLINES - this one made me LOL, because apparently someone used some company money at American Airlines to buy some basketball cards.


All were in the right area of the country, but i still doubt their authenticity, fact id say people prolly use their names so we think we are selling to them..

What pray tell did Michael Moore buy? I am guessing it was not 2008 Topps Gold Sarah Palin cards?

were the paypal from these actual people? I doubt it would be easy to make up a name through paypal..
