Default Elusive Captain America M-10 surfaces....

And sells for a whopping $707.00 within a few hours!! That's a non-serial numbered regular costume card from UD Marvel Captain America! Granted it is super rare and the only one I've seen on Ebay in a year. I've busted 13 hobby cases and have yet to pull one.

That's about where I expected it to go. Congrats to the buyer and seller!

Nice, although perhaps not top dollar as the seller only ships within the US.

Well he had two listing, and on the same day??? The swatches are different, so they are different cards. I'm shocked someone had two of these. Both were listed with a $999.95 BIN/BO.

This is the one posted earlier, it sold for $707.

Normally, I would think that something was wrong with that, but looking at his other items for sale...quite impressive.

I'm going to say he either purchased a large collection, or possibly did what cfind did - and bought a good amount of cases from D&A before the price of cases got jacked up. All of that Marvel stuff looks like it was just listed - so I am thinking he just had some fun ripping wax.

He was one of the guys Cap rescues from the Hydra prison. They are known in the comics as Nick Fury's Howling Commandos.

I thought the same thing, though I don't see any sketches posted yet. If he did pull all of these costume cards recently, I can't wait to see what sketches he pulled.

HI everyone, I'm the seller of the two relic cards. I've been reading the boards for over a year and never posted. I opened 5 cases of Captain & 5 cases of Thor. I couldn't belive it when I pulled the first one and when I pulled the second I thought maybe they're not as hard to pull has everyone said. I only sold the second one for $650 because the buyer had just spent $800+ on other captian and thor cards. If not for that I might have held out for more. I'm going to be listing the sketchs soon. I pulled some very nice ones, but nothing as nice as that other member cracking all the cases

Welcome! Thanks for posting and providing the details. I've cracked 13 cases and have yet to pull one so you did fantastic! I'm looking forward to seeing your sketches, they're my favorite part and the reason why I keep busting boxes.

Jeff Allender's House of Checklists is a good source to figure out which artists did sketches in each set. Here's the link to the Captain America page, and it lists all of the sketch numbers:

The Scoundrel Art Forum is an excellent source for artist lists/print runs as well as having the artist post their contributions to sets, here is a link to the Captain America Artist List:

Scoundrel Art Community :: View topic - Artist List

I don't know if Upper Deck has a Signature Sample of the artists for this set but Rittenhouse Archives has some artists signature samples, here's a link to some of the artist ("Page 1 thru Page 4") who worked on their Marvel's Dangerous Divas Set. There may be some artist cross-over for this set.
