Is there a back to the cards? Or a year/date?

I'm pretty sure they were made in 1944ish.

I did a little research and found that they are from 1940-1941 and here is a great weblink -- Card-O Aeroplanes - Series D, R112-5, 28 Cards, Leaf Chewing Gum Company, United States

I also found a few BIN's on Ebay in the $3-$4 range. Seem cheap for the rich history of these cards.

I'm willing to bet the BIN's sellers on ebay don't even know what they are worth. Do you think beckett would know anything about them.

I have a non-sport update from a few months ago. It has them listed at $5 each.
