Default How does NFL Redzone Channel work

Do they show 1 game and then when another game is in the redzone they switch? Or do they just show nothing until there is a game in the redzone?

if its the first choice I listed, how do I know which game they will be showing?

They show every scoring play. They alternate back and forth between games whenever a team is in the redzone. If a scoring play happens in another game, they cut to that game to see the highlight. At the end of the day they show a montage of every single td scored that day.

Also, and most importantly. Zero commercials. All football, all day.

Good explanation of what they do. Also, if there isn't a redzone team they will go to a team on a good drive. They basically show what everyone wants to see. When the Texans are playing I have Redzone on my recall channel. When the Texans aren't playing I pretty much only watch Redzone.

Yeah, the trade off that you get with Red zone is that you don't get to watch the whole game. But that's fine by me. I'd rather see just the meat of the action in every game then to watch the whole thing.

If it's the Ravens playing, of course, I watch my local station so I can see the whole game. But other than that, it's Red Zone all day for me.

So it's watchable by itself. Great. Thanks also.

Yeah, when the majority of games go to halftime they still don't stop. They just show more highlights from the first half of the games. It's football on crack.

Oh yeah, def. a great all-day watch. The host is actually a good commentator. They also give updates on how many TDs have been scored throughout the day. I think it's a pretty good channel for keeping up with FF too.

LOL, yes it is. "We don't show commercials here!" My favorite line.

It's football crack, for real. I didn't think I'd like it until I watched it--now it's hard to watch a full football game

Yesterday, I added Red Zone to our Comcast, so I'm looking forward to it! It's been described as football crack so there's that. Lol.

Yes it is. You think "I won't like this" and then you watch it and.... "how did I live without this?"

Here you go. Watch NFL live Online Watch NCAAF live Online

You're welcome. Quality can be hit or miss but a way to watch. BWW's is also a good environment on Sunday to throw back some beers and wings.

Q: How does NFL Redzone work?
A: Turn on TV. Change to Redzone. Say goodbye to your Sunday.

In all seriousness, it is a great way to watch football on Sunday but you may not see much of a specific game unless there is a lot of action. That said, the Saints are playing the Redskins. My guess is that you'll get a heavy dose of that game and the Colts-Bears today.

No doubt. Wait til he gets his first triple box or when 5 games are within one score late

I imagine his head spins around Exorcist style. At least that's what I am hoping for.

Yep Red Zone is a fantasy players dream and it was so successful that they carried it over to baseball as well with Strikezone.

that being said is the picture really jacked up for anybody else or is it just Dish ? It seems fine when they are in studio but when they go to any type of action it's all jacked up and almost looks halfway scrambled. I'm hoping it's a channel issue and once the games go live it will work itself out.

So glad TWC got Redzone!

Ended up getting it free for a year ($60 value) and a bump up to the next internet speed. (Extreme)
