Default MNF Thread 9/24 Packers @ Seahawks

Is Russell Wilson the real deal? Are the Packers still the Packers? It's another tough game.
I think Marshawn Lynch puts up big numbers. Big enough to win? I don't know. This is the Packers.

Current Spread
Packers -3.5

Wilson will have to do more then "manage" this game if they want to win. The pack will load the box and force golden tate and sidney rice to beat them, probably not gonna happen.

I'm rooting for Seattle. I enjoy watching the underdog win, but it's also beneficial to the Lions if the Pack loses.

I'm rooting for Seattle too. Put money on them. I got a thing fr underdogs too. Been expensive but fun.
Plus I like the kid Wilson. I think him winning the job over a big free agent acquisition and performing well under those circumstances is just remarkable.

Not to take anything away from Wilson but I'm not sure if you could really consider Flynn a "big free agent acquisition" being that at that point it was all hope besides what he showed against Detroit in that game late last season. It was a competition and Wilson won- and by all means congrats to him.

I didn't mean big free agent acquisition like a Nmandi or Jevon Kearse. But he was the best free agent QB and was sought after by teams who didn't have QB's. And to be a starter after being picked in the 3rd. Awesome!!! How many third round rookie QB's are opening day starters?

Hopefully Packers win and total score is less than 50pts as I'm tied up with a co-worker for our Pick'em pot and we both picked Pack to win.

Nice to see the replacement refs wanting to make sure they're noticed.

and that's a understatement. i guess it's up to whoever's defense cracks first. you figure rodgers will break them down eventually. i don't see wilson cracking 100 yds passing tonight unless he gets some blown coverage

I see this game being close. Gonna be a 2-3 point game. That's why I took Seattle.

Hard to go through your progressions when your offensive line can't give you a full second of protection...these have all been sacks on the line, not coverage sacks.

good lord. thankfully i already won and i don't need rodgers to do anything in fantasy tonight. hawks might set a record for team sacks tonight. i don't even think pathetic describes it accurately anymore.
