Default Topps chrome luck auto question

I have the Andrew Luck Variation Auto refractor, any idea on a value. I'm getting offers $375-$475. Thoughts?

Why put it up for offer, Its Hot right now, why not do a 1 day auction on it ending late Sunday night. That thing could take off like crazy if Luck has a good game.

Luck played Thursday, also I have no idea of value. Congrats, if centered well Grade IMO Beckett 5 Day on special $16 card

I think it's not unreasonable to expect $450-$500 for it. I would say that the $475 offer is a solid offer.

Just got a $475 PayPal offer so that's like $535 on eBay.

I think it's solid. You could try to squeeze an extra $25 out of him but I think it's good. I know it's a SP Variation but its not numbered. I sold a Patch Auto Luck /25 from Platinum for $550. And the lower numbered Chrome Autos are going to sell for much much more than the SP Variation.

Yeah I took the deal and he paid. But now he is asking condition questions which worry me. I mean the card looks awesome to me but, people can be nit picky and I've gotten slammed before on high ticket items because of some little thing.

Be prepared to be asked for a refund when these can be had for $300 in another week.

I know. I should have sold it on eBay. I have a restocking fee clause in my return policy.

I wouldn't worry about it. He obviously wanted it really bad. If for some reason he does ask for a partial, do not give it to him. It's either the card back or nothing. I really think you will be fine though.

If it's off Ebay, then there's nothing he can do as a buyer with regards to condition, etc. Once the card shows as delivered, he can't do jack.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Good luck with that. I thought you would've learned by now....it's a buyer's world, sellers just live in it.

He can still file not as described with paypal....

Makes absolutely no sense though to ask questions after it's paid for.

You are not taking into consideration "buyer's remorse". There have been plenty of threads that for one reason or another, a buyer will pay, accept delivery, then wait a few weeks and open a claim as "item not as described". The main reason is that they saw prices dipping and they didn't want to be holding a $200 card when it is not selling for $125 on eBay. I don't condone it, but it happens. Ask the chrome Baseball guys who have to sweat it out when someone purchases a low colored refractor of the "hot guy".

eBay allows it. I checked. I charged some guy a restocking fee and he dropped his return request and kept the card and left me a neg but I didn't care. I have TRS status and in the end the buyer ate the card HAHAHAHA.

The restocking fee was Ebays idea they will honor up to 25%.

FYI the guy just backed out of the deal. Luckily I did not take the card down. He literally inspected every sure inch of the card and determined that the back if the card was off center. He's kind of difficult to deal with. I've placed him n my bbl, not because he was a jerker anything but its a claim waiting to happen and he ONLY bids n super high end high $ cards.

And you got a negative plus low DSRs which does more damage than accepting returns.

This is true, but when you sell in high volume the DSRs eventually become insignificant. I can take quite a few low DSRs before I am in danger of losing Top Rated Seller status and in my experience only about .01% of buyers are douche bags, so I play the odds. I know approximately how many buyers I can tell to "stick it" before I have to worry, so I choose my battles wisely.
