Default Who has played tecmo bowl?

Just thinking of all the sports games out,and i miss the plain ol tecmo bowl.I mostly played with houston or the niners.Won alot of money playing that game with friends.Seems everyone wanted to use the raiders and use Bo,but i had his number.

What team or teams you like to play with?

Yeah, you're thinking of tecmo super bowl, which had every team and you could run 8 plays, rather than the original tecmo bowl, which did not have every team and you could only choose between 4 plays.

For tecmo super bowl, loved the Bills....Kelly, Thurman, Reed, great defense.

Chicago Bears were always my favorite team to play. On Tecmo Bowl and Tecmo Super Bowl both. To me Neal Anderson was almost as good as Bo Jackson and you couldnt stop Mike Singletary on defense.

I would play techmo superbowl. And it was Raiders all day every day. Hostetler to Tim Brown.

I like Tecmo Super Bowl as you can save your season progress without entering a code, there's more teams and you can tweak rosters. Not to mention having stats and those sweet action cutscenes during the play .

Is this a serious question? Unless you are 12 now then this game consumed your entire life!!

Just pure epicness...I used the 9ers...

There is a group of guys here: TecmoBowl.org - Home of Tecmo Super Bowl - TB.org

They modified the original Tecmo Super Bowl and have included ROMS with all 32 teams and updated rosters. It is amazing what these guys can do. There are modifications to the game which can make quarters longer, allow you to change plays during the game, etc. There is even a mod that is called Tecmo Street that is the Tecmo equivalent of NFL Street... plays really fast and lots of scoring.

I have been playing the latest game on my phone with an emulator... so much nostalgia and a perfect game for short plays.

I played Techmo Bowl with Ray Romano back in 1988 in my living room. True story.
