Default Platinum vs Prestige?

I'm going to be buying a Hobby Box tonight/tomorrow for fun not trying to make a profit off of it. Not wanting to spend a bunch of $ (wife and I are building a house) What would be the cooler box break for me? I'm looking to get some RC auto's for a project I'm doing. Thank you for your input and Happy Thanksgiving!

Yeah I'd have to go with Platinum as well. Good luck!

go prestige , platinum is to hard to hit a decent player. all the good and decent players are short printed. and prestige has some nice looking cards this year. ive seen to many people get burned with platinum. u can always look at some youtube breaks and get a feel.

I think Topps is the best looking product, but with Prestige being the exception. Prestige is a MUCH better looking card than Platinum.

I have opened 3 boxes of Platinum and 3 of Prestige, and got lots of crap hits from Platinum, while I got an awesome 2 clr patch auto Brandon Weeden /99, a T-Rich base auto, and a few others that aren't Michael Egnew.

Leaning towards Prestige and then just buying some random patch autos for cheap on eBay. Not looking for the expensive rookies just have some frames that hold cards and trying to get as many autos from this rookie class as I can to go along with my 26 cards I've got signed TTM. Thanks for all the help!

If you like "hits" numbered over 1,000 then Platinum is for you.

THIS.

Finest is a good product also, but again high numbered hits ruin it. I feel really good about the 2 boxes I have bought though. In one box a hit was 5/5 and in the second box a hit was 23/25 so fairly low numbered. Had I spent the money on two boxes and came out with all my hits being over /1000 I would NOT have this same good opinion of Finest.

Buy a box of Prestige from Panini and get the Black Friday packs, neither product is amazing otherwise.
