Default Topic Of the day: Favorite Sandwich!

Number 1 on my list is the sandwich from Primanti Brothers in Pittsburgh. It was very large and very good and very unique. My second favorite would have to be a Geno's (sorry Pat's fans) cheesesteak wiz wit.

Anything from Tony Luke's in Philly. Blows Genos and Pats away

Primanti's weren't bad, but honestly for the only one I had I wasnt overly impressed (not that it wasnt bad). Found a little Deli outside of Kennett Square that had a good cheesesteak though. In Exton I really liked their chicken cheesesteak (no cheese) I got at Hosses (yes, probably multiple violations against my mancard).

Can't say I've had a ton of really good sandwiches at resturants. My best is probably still the one I loved to make back when I ran the resturant where I grew up in Hesperia (Angelos and Riccardos if anyone passes through that area...at the bar I'm known as Gump). Take some fresh beef slices off the Sunday buffet (we did a large 30-40 lb roast heavily seasonsed), place it on some grilled deli rye, topped with sauteed onions and garlic mushrooms (sliced), then add swiss, once melted add mustard cut in half and ummmm.

My favorite I guess would probably be the Steak Sandwich from Antlers up in Sault Ste Marie (also a place I worked in college).

I'd have to say a BBQ Beef Brisket from Famous Dave's. Nothing like Nebraska beef.

Primanti Bros. the Angus Steak....yum yum, headed to Pittsburgh to watch a Cirque show this weekend. The best sandwich at home is a Lebanon Bologna w/ White American cheese and Miracle Whip.

To be honest.... In my opinion, nothing beats a homemade meatloaf sandwich on wheat bread smothered in ketchup!

The Reuben at Zingerman's in Ann Arbor is incredible. Another great choice is the Pork BBQ Sandwich from Interstate BBQ in Memphis.

Breaded chicken cutlet
Bacon
Melted american cheese
BBQ Sauce

Best sandwich ever!

Sadly I have to make it myself as there's not a place in this desert that has a clue on how to make a real sandwich

Besides a couple non-chain local favorites of mine, I haven't found anything I didn't like on the menus of both Penn Station East Coast Subs (based in Cincinnati, OH) or Charley's Grilled Subs (based in Columbus, OH).

Umm I made a new samich about a month ago at 330 AM wasted.

I called it a Storken

It had a piece of ribeye steak, pork loin, and grilled chicken.

On a bun, with some garlic spread, and topped with Greek salad.

Sober I'd probably never touch that sandwich, but it was money right before I passed out.

I still had a lump in my stomach in the morning.
