Pack Searcher rant!!! alfjalkfjwjf

Sorry....I complained at my GF for 20 minutes and she didn't understand so naturally I'm going to complain to people on the internet.

I got a $50 Target gift card....figured I'd buy a few food items and naturally some clearance blaster boxes they put on sale.

2011 Bowman DPP for $11 instead of $20...

Well when I picked them up I noticed that the retail packs were just put out (because most were full) but almost EVERY SINGLE PACK was ruined. Some idiot pack searcher bent every single box that had an auto or relic. I've never been so pissed. I mean if you're going to pack search, that's fine. It doesn't affect me but wow do you need to ruin hundreds of dollars worth or merchandise? No you don't, I've seen plenty of boxes that have been pack searched where notching else was damaged, but I've never seen such poor disregard for the law and hobby.

I ran the scenario in my head about 50 times of what I'd do if I caught the person in the act....a lot of them ended in me punching tackling or hitting said person. I don't know what the best course of action would have been. I probably would have tried to film him then report him to security and made sure he's arrested. (it is a crime right? Vandalism?)

Pack searching sucks. It doesn't matter so much whether I get a 1$ relic, I just like the thrill of opening packs!

Thats awful that he would ruin all the packs. I wish you woulda caught him in the act.

Woulda made a much better story!

so your best scenario's in your head was to be arrested for assault because you saw someone bending trading card packs??? Honestly that would be one of the dumbest scenarios to have a physical confrontation with said person. Don't agree with what they are doing but it certainly is not that important of an issue enough for me to have a criminal record

Thats what he said he probably would have done. I think in his head he saw himself beating the other guy up but in real life I highly doubt that this poster would turn physical.

The best response would be to laugh at him and then feel sorry for him wasting hours of his life looking for cards that are worth $1...if that is all his time is worth then let them do it, at least they are not shooting up the place with guns.

It happens, learn to realize you can't change it, and stop getting upset for 20 minutes to your gf over it. Does it suck? Sure, but come on dude, get over it.

Thanks for reading the entire post...yes that's what I was saying. Obviously I'm not going to assault someone over packing searching, I was just imagining doing so...made me feel better.

I try not to buy retail but I rarely shop at target and for $12 they had the blaster boxes of 2011 Bowman Chrome, 2011 BDPP and something else....I think it's worth $12. I got lucky and got an auto in one of them too!
