Hopefully he will be good to go before the season starts!!

Eh ya never know... I completely tore ACL, MCL, LCL during football and was released in 5 months and played d1 football that season... 2nd one I was fine in 4 months... Depends on how hard he works and how determined he is.

He can thank Adrian Peterson for everyone that is going to expect him to be out there playing at the same level opening weekend next season. Good luck with the surgery and recovery.

It's also just how well it heals and rehabs, sometimes that's not up to him.

I'm sure you didn't have the same explosion and agility right away when you started back up off the injury, and no offense, you weren't the #2 pick in the draft. If he's not the same right away, it's big problems next year for that franchise, and it might not have anything to do with how hard he works

I honestly don't think so, I think people know that AP is a freak of nature, he's not normal

For every one of him, there are 20 Mendenhall's or Thomas Davis' out there and most of the time it comes down to getting lucky, not being a better player or harder worker

yep, ESPN has gone downhill since they have built there empire. Too quick to get something out there to stir the pot without facts or something backing it legitemately. So you think that people are generally reasonable? LOL. That's a nice sentiment, but come Sept/Oct people will be looking for him to be back at it, doing the same things he is doing.

I remember watching the game in 09 when RG3 tore his ACL, the next year he was back and had become a better pocket passer. I predict RG3 will be ready to go in 13 and will again be better than he was this year.

They reported what the doctors said. Initial MRIs looked liked partial tears then he went to Florida for further tests. You're the one rushing.

Hopefully next year they don't run the read option as much. Keep in the play books, maybe 10 times a game at most. Have a great RB in Morris and RGThrice can throw pretty d*mn good. Redskins will be better next year when they get there two defensive players back they lost at the beginning of the year.

The ESPN Doctor (forget his name) that was just on Mike and Mike couldn't have been more negative about the prospects of RGIII going forward. Said anyone that thinks this is AP is nuts.

We'll have to see how it all plays out I suppose but it sure doesn't sound good a the moment for the future - let alone just next year.

He said he will not be the same which is common sense. However then confirmed that there is not much difference from 4.3 to a 4.4.

Well that's also part of what he said - and obviously it's hard to bring up all his points - but he also mentioned that around 2 out of 3 players that have major LCL/ACL/PCL injuries never play again if you look at all the guys that have been injured people have just never heard of.

It's all a big "who knows" - we all know that - the interview on Mike and Mike was just as "negative" it could be in terms of his voice inflection and how he thought of the prospects overall. It wasn't a "he'll be back and just fine" interview.
