Here are a few cards that I have in my collection.... I pulled the original T3 as a buyback from 05 Turkey Red. The other 2 I got on eBay. What do you think that dual auto of A-Rod/Bonds will bring in a few years when A-Rod obliterates Bonds and Aaron???

I would definately take them out of those PSA cases before I sold them. The low grades wont help your price.

I agree with ya Chucky on the autos but I'd leave the original TR card in the slab because it authenticates it as an original TR card. I think alot of people are getting more into vintage but are scared of fakes. I know I'd probably go after that one on fleabay as opposed to the same card in better condition not slabbed.

It looks like it has 2 or 3 pin holes near the top.

The original T3 does have pin holes in it. PSA automatically grades cards with pin holes as a 1, regardless of the condition of the rest of the card.
But, I would say that it would be a 3 if it didn't have the pin holes.Do you really think that the PSA 7 grade on the dual Bonds/A-Rod will hurt the card in the long run? It does authenticate it. And, the print run, while not published, has to be less than 10. |

If your going to hold it for 20-30 years or more then I'd leave it in the slab but if your going to resell anytime soon or even when Arod breaks the HR record (hopefully)i a few years, I wouldn't leave it slabbed. A 7 grade on a 5 year old card only hurts the value IMHO.

The Bonds/ARod was a redemption and Topps shipped it in a manila envelope without even a plastic sleeve on it. The gray border on all TR chip easily and the corners were rubbed white. Oooo, I was so fustrated when it finally came in the mail last year!

Those are some really great cards, but I wouldn't ever sell them -- I'd hang on to them forever; that's what card collecting is all about.
