Got my 5 Star Wars variants in from Hastings. Lots of shifting during shipment, corners damaged. Not sure if they'd do anything to help or not. Looks like I'm out $25 though.
For another package from Graham Crackers. 3 ASM 700 Skyline variants and the 1:100 Quesada. First of all, packaging was horrendous. Stuck inside a flat rate mailing envelope, sandwiched into a UPS cardboard "pak", and then into a manila envelope. Really??!? But it gets worse. Was stamped by USPS "Damaged in handling in the postal service." After seeing that and it being inside a manila effing envelope I knew I was in trouble. All books crunched in the top left corner...probably where the mishandling comes in to play. So what do I do now? I sent a polite email to GC about what happened. I did make a comment that it was ridiculous that a $100 book was mailed like that. Can I expect a resolution in my favor? Anybody else been in a similar situation with them? I'm NOT going to take a $140 loss on these because of the carelessness of both parties involved. Not acceptable IMO. |

I ordered the Quesada variant for ASM #700 from Graham Cracker and had the same horrible packaging, which resulted in two damaged corners and some minor spine wrinkles. Not sure what I'm going to do yet, but I'm thinking about contacting them.

I got mine in an envelope as well, but they were well padded and had no problems. Sorry to hear about all these issues guys. I would ask for refunds or exchanges. If they're unwilling to help out, we'll have to make sure we buy elsewhere.

Same packaging for me from GC. But book was OK.
Finally got my SS sketch MT. Nice they used a box and all, but man it could have used more packing material or something. Was moving all over the place. |

Same issue here with my ASM 700 Quesada Variant. It is up to you about contacting them. I did and they are working with me. The other variants are not worth sending back but were also damaged. I will keep you updated when/if my issue gets resolved.

Well boy do I feel like a jerk. They messed up my order for superior spiderman so they sent my asm #700 quesada in a big box, only had one other comic in it. Bubble wrap and everything.
I never have problems with them I the past and they always seem to arrive in Cgc condition. I'll have to check my invoices, maybe I'm paying extra for shipping

I got mine in today as well. 1 book, Quesada Variant, came in a box, supported with crumbled up paper. 1 spine crease in the middle, almost a quarter inch tear near the upper spine. $70 would seem more appropriate, but since they are sold out.. it is what it is.
