Default Carey Price

I check box scores to follow along with the NHL. Why hasn't Price been playing? Is he injured or have they just chosen to go with Halak recently?

From Yahoo Sports... #

Player notes Sun, Oct 25

G Jaroslav Halak improved his record to 3-1 Saturday despite giving up four goals on 27 shots.
(Yahoo! Sports)
#

Player notes Fri, Oct 23

Halak made 21 saves in his second straight start after helping the Canadiens stop a five-game losing streak Tuesday night with a 2-1 shootout win over Atlanta.

Advice: Montreal coach Jacques Martin now faces a tough call for Saturday night's game against the New York Rangers. Does he go with the hot hand in Halak, or turn back to No. 1 goalie Carey Price, who is 2-4 in six starts with a 3.36 goals-against-average and a .886 save percentage? Either way, look for Halak to get more playing time in the near future.

Ok thanks. I know he was playing okay but nothing outstanding so I thought maybe Price was hurt or sick. I always check out how Halak is playing since I have two Cup rookie patches of him and zero of Price, lol.

Halak is hot right now, CP needs to get his game back. He wasn't doing badly but he was letting in soft goals near the end of each game. I still think he'll be the best goaltender in the league not named Steve Mason in a few years, but Halak is going to be a good one too.

If you want to move a Halak, PM me.
