I would love to call topps and find out, but their outrageous hours give me almost zero time to do so. Literally probably a 15 minute window every weekday when I could possibly call them. Starting to piss me off, I'm waiting on 11 redemptions from topps, 7 from chrome.

Yep welcome to my life, I have over 20 with topps 13 chrome (all kirkpatrick variations to black, still looking for gold, red and super), and I asked them a million questions when I am on the phone just to get as much info as i can, hence asked about the blue wave, and as indicated to me a couple of weeks ago, they have the blue waves ready, supposed to be sent with the redemption card and they are waiting for more redemptions to be fullfilled, I wonder how many people will sub and lose the packs that come with the redemption!

I have tweeted Topps, Facebook, email, voicemail and spoke with someone about the packs. I bought a bunch of LaMichael James refractors I bought befire prices went up.

Would like to have them before mini camps start, haha

Or we could just wait til they get shipped, season already over so no big deal. I am sure they will eventually arrive so I don't know what the huge ordeal with waiting for them is. Heck most of the time I enter a redemption I forget about them, then when they show up in the mail its an awesome surprise just like pulling a hit.

I would agree with you if I had one Brian Quick autograph and Blue Wave Pack I was waiting on - I opened a lot of Chrome, bought a lot of singles - so I have probably 15 LaMichael James Autograph REF or better sitting with Topps - at $50 a card, that's a conservative $750.

$200 in other players
Around 30 Blue Wave Packs x $10 each $300

Call it a Grand, completely out of my control

THAT is the big deal - $1,000 is a boatload of money to me.

Still waiting on my Dwayne Allen Blue Wave Redemption. Will be a happy mail day when I get it. Probably busting it on video when I get it. See no point in selling the pack as a whole sealed pack. I'd be aching to see what was inside of it for the rest of my life.

How stupid are they? They announced this program 3 and a half months ago and they still don't have them ready. What kind of company are they running?

You think topps sucks, Panini is at least a 8 month wait on redemtions. I have over 40 redemtions with them and still no word. One of the redemtions is the 2011 totally certified Cam Newton HRX video card auto /10. That has been a year in a month.

DONT PUT OUT A PRODUCT IF YOU DONT HAVE THE PRODUCT.
Redemtions are IOU's and the card company makes money on top of money and think we will give our money to them for a IOU. BUMS

Thats alot lol I have around 30 too and 4 of them are Russell Wilsons and one of them is a black one and I'm insanely pissed that they will be sticker autos wtf

I completely agree with you on this!

I just got back into the hobby this past football season, and after all the boxes I busted, I have come to the conclusion that:

A. Panini seems to be far worse than Topps with the IOUs, er, redemptions
B. Quality control and customer service are not their strong suits (loved busting a hobby box of Strata and not getting a Clear Cut auto hit , which I am still waiting to receive from Topps after paying for their product over 2 months ago)
C. I think I am done with wax until they stop being so greedy and start focusing on the customer experience. I would gladly take a few less products each season if it meant little to no redemptions or claims that were actually upheld (Contenders: 2 on card autos per box).

Honestly, does a car company sell you a car with a redemption for side view mirrors because they did not have them at the time? Would a smartphone company make you wait 3-4 months for a battery because they for got to include it in the package you already paid for?

Whatever happened to getting what you paid for? I know that they cannot always get everyone's autograph, or need to track down jerseys, but this is all becoming a bit excessive.


Sorry about the rant. I am waiting on 11 blue wave packs. I already received 2 redemption cards from Topps, which did not come with them, so I am assuming I will get shafted and only receive 9 packs.
