Default possible 1933 Goudey Auto card

Take a look at this 1933 Pie Traynor Goudey card. Do you think this is a real auto?

Unfortunately, there is also a little pencil scribble in the top left corner. I have about 140 cards from the set & about 70% of them have some kind of pencil marks on them.

I would suggest some google searches on his signature. It is possible that he made his "T" distinctly different over the years, but this is what research will tell you. He has been dead since 1972 so it is a tough autograph if real.

On the PSA site it looks pretty close to his 30's style of autograph.

It doesn't look like a real autograph to me.

Common sense dictates that it's likely real, without even checking what his auto looks like. If it's close, I'd send it in. How would someone know what his auto looked like if they owned this card 70 years ago, and why would someone ruin the card otherwise.

I owned two of his 06 Legendary Cuts Autos and it looks pretty similar to them. The "P" looks pretty close but his last name is very difficult to tell because of how small it is written. I'm no expert but I would say that I'm almost certain that it is real.

The autograph is bad.

I've bought and sold over 20 Pie Taynor autographs throughout the years and that one is bad. Besides looking like a child did it, Pie always had two parts to his P. Some youngster back in the day playing around probably drew on this.
