bought a nick castellanos auto on ebay and this is what i received. Below i will post the auction link. As you cal tell, the autograph does not extend all the way across the card like the auction one does and this autograph is a lot streakier than the listing. What is the best way to handle this situation?

Looks like that is what happened. Opened the case but i actually do hope to still end up with the card on the auction that i actually bought so i am holding out. I know the odds are slim since he listed another one but for 20 bucks, ill take a shot at it, at worst I get my money back so i guess ill see what happens

I bet I have had this happen 10 times over the past 2 months, I always compare pics to the card after I get it. Bummer sellers can't be honest, and a bummer they are sometimes to lazy to take pics of their actual cards before listing.

This is clearly what happened so I don't think it was intentional since he actually did take two different scans of the Castellanos'..one for each auction. I would just message him explaining the situation and ask for a refund.

sent him the message and he definitely understood the case. this was handled very well by the seller. offered me 5 dollars partial refund or enough for return shipping and he would send the correct card. i told him i wanted the correct card. now waiting to receive shipping money

I often have dupes I sell on ebay - this is why I put inventory numbers in my auction and on the top loaders. Makes it impossible to send out the wrong one.
