I won an auction last night for a $.99 card. When I got on later in the night to pay for it I can't find it anywhere on my purchase history. Can a seller end a transaction after the auction without communication to the buyer? At the end of the day its a cheap card so I am not too worried about it but it just seems wrong.

If the seller's account is suspended this can happen. I think it is a poor decision by eBay, but it does happen. If a seller fails to pay their fees on time their active listings can be pulled and ended listings vanish. I think this hurts everyone. How do you maintain your own records if eBay modifies them?
