Default LCS vs Wholesaler

What kind of lead way do you give your LCS for his overhead?

Are you willing to spend 10% more, 20% more, etc?

I was having a conversation with someone about how Best Buy is basically used as a catalog for consumers to go pick out what they want and then order it online to save a few bucks. Got me to thinking, how much more would I pay to support local businesses (I'm aware Best Buy is not a local biz)?

I'm sure this topic has been beat to death on here, sorry for bringing it back up.

None. I buy/sell at shows and online.

Not sure why people like giving away money to pay more at an LCS. That is of course if you like going in to converse sports.

My LCS is wayyy overpriced, so I generally stick to low end singles (50 cent, dollar bins) and Mets conversations.

Just be happy you have a LCS. I don't know of one within two hours of me. I would pay a small premium, but not a lot.

My LCS is give or take $2 around online prices.

I think Amazon is a better catalog than Best Buy, considering you get on-the-spot user reviews, which is more important to me than what a magazine will say.

However, if/when I buy, it's usually online. I like to support my LCS, but often times, it's easier to pull the trigger through the web, especially with PayPal being a click away.

Ain't that the truth! If I had to physically go to the store and pay $100-300 in cash on the same cards I purchased online.....my collection would be significantly smaller. Similar concept to what casinos do by using chips.
