Is the sad sight seeing Patrick Ewing finally signing but for Leaf or the fact that they cut a Logoman in half? Or Both? I'll go with both.

Most probable 2 reasons:
- Some licensing issue where they aren't allowed to show the entire logo on one card. Similar to why they quartered the Bulls Bull logo on their Pippen cards last year. - Make more chase cards in the set. Which is still considerably impressive considering Patrick Ewing rarely, rarely signs.

Does it have anything to do with the fact that they don't have an NBA license? Maybe they wouldn't be allowed to display a logoman in its entirety.

I believe Brain Gray's justification in the past for doing this is to allow more collectors to enjoy hitting a Logo Patch on their cards, rather than just one.
