yeah hold it, even if the Pacers won the series he's still one of the best players that's ever played in the history of the NBA and he's going to set and break records in the years to come considering that he's also only 28. 1 series loss like that will not and does define an entire careerwhen it comes to special players like him

I will admit that the Heat look really weak right now which is really strange considering at one point they won 45 out of 48 games this year. It goes to show how important a big man is in the NBA. Hibbert has really messed up the Heat. Far more then I thought he would.
The point I have been making lately is the Lakers won 3 titles in a row in the early 2000's and there were more then a few times when they looked really weak but we all know how that panned out. Even MJ's Bulls played in some game 7's that should have never gotten that far but they played some really good teams. Don't knock the Pacers though. There is a reason they are only 1 game away from playing for the NBA championship. I said it after Game 4 and it hasn't been proven yet but I expect to see it in Game 7. Expect the refs to be the 6th man for the Heat in Game 7. Do you really think the NBA will allow a Spurs/Pacers finals? They must have been really upset that of the teams that made it to the Conference finals 3 of the 4 were from small markets. With that said, the Pacers had some key calls/no calls go their way. I don't expect that to happen in a Game 7 where they are on the road. The two that come to mind were the Hansbrough tip in that shouldn't have counted and the offensive foul on Lebron/Hibbert play which ended up with Lebron running down the floor and drawing a tech which got the asst coach off the bench and got him a tech. I don't recall if the Pacers scored on the ensuing play after the free throws but if they did that's a 7 point swing in the 4th quarter assuming Lebron makes the FT on the 3 point play. If that call goes the other way which I think it should have, the Heat probably would have won the game and we are reading threads arguing over who is going to win the title. Heat win easily... Only sell the card if the Heat win the Championship however there is a great argument to hold the card even if they do win the championship. |

This does nothing for lebrons actual value or for the value of that card.
May be a big sale or two this week just due to excitement for the finals, but Don't mistake lebron for George or curry - long term value can only be Established by players taking the "next step" and lebron needs another title for his overall value to improve. Tonight didnt hurt, but that's not a hype card. Actual collectors will buy that card if they want it obviously but not because lebron just beat Indiana and is headed for the finals.
