Hi, I tried some searches instead of making this thread, was wondering if anyone bought a case from blowout lately with the special price, but cant find anything in my searches. Case is discounted about 600 bucks and is 899.
Seems like a fair deal where you going to lose about 200 max. lol Anyone bought one recently out there and how did you do? Or anyone pondered the thought? I like opening things that are low risk you know like topps fb jumbo stuff like that where I know I can get majority of money back. Like Prizm basketball was alot of fun when it first hit, I ended up going through about 10 cases. ha. Thanks |

I just did a case and did a lot of research on it
typically, you will find 2-4 patches per case There will also be 1 gd active player auto and a solid legend auto you will also have I think 1/3 chance of landing an Irving XRCOO? base 1/1s sell very well, the card stock is thicker than the 2010 limited version

my patches were
John Wall DeAndre Jordan Grant Hill Jumbo (super nasty) Rose GU Auto /10 Harden Prime Auto Tyreke Auto /10 Hakeem GU Auto Drexler GU Auto 1/25 Dominique Wilkins Auto my redemptions included Tristan Thompson Klay Thompson Kawhi Leonard Chandler Parsons Kanter and hit a 1/1 base George hill which paid for 1/8 of the case

its a safe product to not lose a ton but other than a rare kobe auto patch or kyrie rookie, or miracle lebron base 1/1 or something, i dunno what cards in this product would even hardly pay for a single box. obviously some but this product doesnt have a real huge hit potential. but if u wanna open something & probably not lose very much then its probably a pretty good choice.

Sure Kyrie in this goes for 140ish now, but ive seen them as high as 250-300, and I really think down the road with all these sets they put out in 12-13, that these 11-12 real rc year cards will be in demand. |

I did a case and probably maybe back around 50-60%. Sold a Duncan Jumbo Patch /5 for $225 (which another one recently sold for like $50), Iverson Patch /15 for $55 (had an offer at $75 there that I declined and listed at auction, blah), Jrue Base 1/1 for $45, Jeremy Lin AU for $45, base lot (about half the base) for $30, and a Marcus Thornton Jumbo Patch AU + Jersey AU for $25. The veteran/legend autos sell for almost nothing. Gervin /25 - $15, Kidd /25 - $15, Tony Parker /25 - $15, Mark Price /25 - $10, have an Isiah Thomas /10 I can't sell for $15. I do have all my XRC autos left, but that's because they all sell for less than $10. Got two Tristan Thompson, three Brandon Knight, Jimmer, Tobias Harris, Kemba, Kanter, and a couple other solid ones, but no Kyrie.
Hope that helps. (EDIT: Also FYI, if all 30 XRC autos are random, you have a 40% of pulling at least 1 Kyrie. Just something to take into account.) Last edited by gamboooler; 09-07-2013 at 02:38 PM. |

The signing surface allows the ink to spread out and become fuzzy. 2011 Gold standard has the only xrc autos that had good looking draft 2011 autos. P&p and limited used the same card surface. I posted a thread about this a week ago btw.
