Default Justin Blackmon... When do I stop???

Ok, so I went from covering a small table, to a coffee table, now to a full dinner table. I have 138 autos and many other parallels and jersey cards. At what point do you stop with a PC and move on to something else??

slowly starting a Jordan Reed PC as well

if your in it for the money, i'd stop now and get what I could out of those, if your in it for the collection aspect, i'd say never stop, it's a great collection, looks awesome.

I agree with Qwasian... if you're doing it as an investment, then you're well represented and covered if he becomes a HALL OF FAME player you've got solid retirement money. In the short term if he becomes an ALL-PRO, you'd probably want to set a goal of let's say between 20% and 100% return on investment and sell 'em off. Even if he becomes as good as a Wide Receiver as a Mark Clayton, Andre Rison, Michael Irvin, Sterling Sharpe, Donald Driver, Terrell Owens, Randy Moss, Chad Johnson, Roddy White, Andre Reed, Wes Welker, Andre Johnson, Reggie Wayne, Marvin Harrison, etc. Sports Trading Cards tend to be horrible "investments" for the long haul, as interest and demand along with prices drop quickly, unless you're able to buy at extremely low prices and know when to get out of the market of each player. Once out of the spotlight, either replaced by "the next big thing", faltering stats, or retirement, it's a downward spiral.

Even if Blackmon becomes better than Jerry Rice... you can pick up a 1986 Topps Jerry Rice RC for about $100 and a Jersey Card for $10 and an Autographed Card for under $200 generally speaking, removing the "grading" and "numbering" aspects for scarcity considerations.

If you're a FAN, then keep on collecting and I'd even say "PAUSE" for a bit since there's still a lot of value in his cards based on his "Potential" as a prospect, and truth be told the odds are he's going to either not live up to expectations and prices will lower, or worst yet he won't "get it" professionally and continue to become a social train wreck and drive his career into the ground as so many other skilled players have thrown their careers away.

You have a nice collection and great tribute to a player. If you have no loyalties to him and are just speculating, I'd almost recommend refocusing your strategy and pick a retired hall of fame player you've always liked and buy up their cards as well.

If you collect anything other than a QB or RB, you can't be in it for money. I mean his autos go for an average of $30 now. His high end is between $70-150. Don't see it really changing when he comes back. At least not until he gets a QB.

Do Not Stop The Blackmon Collection. He is going to be good once they get a new QB down there in Jacksonville. Oh and nice collection by the way.

Most people on BO suck. They jump off and on bandwagons like hookers in vegas do on dudes.

Blackmon is a freak talent and will figure himself out. Whether for money or not, its a sick collection. Keep going and I know he as a player will be amazing.

If you are looking at it as an investment here is what I would hope for, that A. Jaguars dont decide to win enough games to lose the first overall pick. B. That Bridgewater is as good as they are projected(I think he is still suppose to be the best QB). and C. that your management is smart enough to resign MJD and dump Gabbert. D. Hope that Blackmon gets it together and realizes that acting right could make him even richer. Could you imagine the turnaround that offense would make.
