Looks to be a F+ (6.5) on the high end with a possible 6.0 more likely.

VG/F- that's such a bummer that it is the Pence and not the regular cents version.

vg because
1. the corners
2. the spine
3. the creasing on the right.
4. the dirt on the front cover
5. that back cover is just 1 large stain.
nice book to have though. in your eyes, what makes this book a VF?

Not trying to offend anyone here but that books is a 7.0 and could be 7.5 maybe even an 8 with a press and clean. I've done a lot of bronze and silver age submitting over the past year and aside from wear on the spine, there are no hard crease folds or small tears that normally put a book in the Fine- and lower range.

im with you on submitting a lot of bronze and silver this year. that being said, i cant see a book as dirty as this getting more than a 5.0. even cleaning the dirt off, the stains bring the grade down.
here is a 5.0 not as dirty as this book on the back, but the cover presents slightly similar.
