Default 1992 Bowman Box

Says foil card in every pack... I got 4 out of 36 packs. No rivera. No piazza. No Delgado. No Hoffman. Does this happen?

It's a big set, but sounds like someone resealed that badboy on you.

Call Topps. Tell them you're missing your hits.

I'm kidding of course. Sounds like someone resealed them. My question is, why take the foils? I could see taking the Piazzas and Riveras, because getting a box without them happens but taking the foils makes it look obviously tampered with. Pretty dumb.

Resealing seems very difficult for that style of wrapper, but not impossible.

Is there any chance that the cards are always in the same sequence (like the Topps issues of the 1980's) making it easier to pack search without resealing?

100% positive feedback... I've started a dispute. I will post his name and sign in if no refund is issued.

This is a wax wrapper, like old donruss packs.

Not that hard to find with your feedback

1992 Bowman Baseball Card Box New 36 Packs Rivera Piazza Rookie Cards More | eBay

Such a huge set. Its highly possible to miss all 3 guys while busting a rogue box. Sequential ordering of cards could make it easier to cherry picks boxes

I bought one a couple of years ago and had similar results. I doubt it was resealed. I hit one Rivera, Delgado, no Piazza and no Ramirez. As it was already mentioned it's a huge set.

With only 4 foil cards?

Valid point, I did overlook the only 4 foil cards aspect.

This is incorrect.

They were a new style plastic type of wrapper.

Correct, but they fold together and can seal with a little heat.

Such a terrible idea to buy something like that on eBay. Could have got 2-3 riveras and 1 each of everybody else as singles.

This is the way to buy sealed 1992 Bowman boxes

RARE 1992 Bowman Baseball Hobby Box Jumbo | eBay

The jumbo/vendor boxes were all sealed tight. If the thing isn't tight, you know its been tampered with, and for whatever reason there were less centering issues with the cards that came out of these.

The foils were probably taken years ago when they were considered somewhat valuable. It's not even worth resealing these boxes now, but 10 years ago, absolutely.

Just had an itch to pull a rivera since couldn't afford much in 92... I just wanted to confirm that this was a resealed box before I filed claim.

He refunded my $, he is a retired guy selling his collection off. Said he picked this box up at a local card show years ago. Probably when the foils were sought after. Gave me refund and said he would never want to rip anyone off!

Good to have someone not try to fight back. Congrats on handling the situation
