Default **DigsUT Recent Pickups & Wall Displays**

It has been a fairly productive couple of weeks, pick up wise. The new short box was acquired a while back, but it quite possibly the sweetest looking short box, period The displays on the wall will hopefully be rotating as I get new stuff, or just want to stare at a different part of my collection.

Pickups:

The WALLS!

Unfortunately, little has changed on this wall, cause, well, silver is expensive

Hit a store I dont normally go to and stocked up on some new JSCs for the collection. Man, did not realize just how many different covers he has done. Still on the hunt for BW6, BC1 and JLA 0.

They did not have them at the store, but was definitely on the look for them. There was also a Batman and DangerGirl, but I have yet to find one.

That Captain Marvel #33 is awesome that is on my list, also the Batman/Danger Girl with Joker and Harley on the cover is impossible to find in good shape, found a Mint one after two months of solid searching.

Home Depot, in their shelving department, have a modular shelving system area. I use the rails from that system and 1" "L" brackets to mount them on the wall. Slabs and raw books fit just fine in the rail with enough depth to lean against the wall.

A couple new additions to the JSC collection:

Ad said VF, but looks pretty minty fresh to my eyes:

Incredibly happy to add this to my collection thus far. Got a great deal on this book and hope to have it cracked, JSC signed and re-submitted:

Just acquired a full run of Preacher, including the minis. #1 and 2 are in NM, have not really inspected the rest. Included in the collection was some TMNT Eastman issues and Gen 13. Paid less than what #1 is going for currently for the whole lot, so not bad.

Question is, should I just flip the Preachers now, or is there legs on this with the Pilot on the horizon?

Love the Batman Danger Girl SS.

I saw one on eBay, but for whatever reason forgot to bid on it. If you were the winning, it would be an understatement to say you got a great deal on it.

Just got home from the Dallas Sci-Fi Expo and ready to just sit back and relax. Before that, figured I would drop a post of my pickups from the show. Gotta a couple of nice PC additions:

Premier 42 NEEDS a press

FINALLY, added a 300 to the collection. Plus, the Chrome X-men was to nice to pass up

That would be correct. One of the dealers had already had it signed and at a pretty good price. Can never have to many of those

Great pickups! I'm loving the AT 25. Do you mind if I ask you how much that set you back?

I would say that it is in VF condition and I found it in a 50% off box. It was priced at $13, I believe. So $6

Funny thing was, they had one on the display wall. Makes me wonder if they just forgot to pull it out of the 50% box.
