Default Where will Ken Whisenhunt go?

Looks like it's down to Detroit and Tennessee..

And from what I'm reading, he is leaning towards Tennessee...

Detroit...

Rumors of a plane heading to SD right now actually...

Lions preparing to send plane to San Diego for Ken Whisenhunt? - Pride Of Detroit

Not sure how I feel about him after some conservative play calling during the playoffs. I don't assume he would be calling plays here though.

Detroit would be perfect for him. He'll turn around Stafford just like he did to Rivers.

■ Titans in mix: ESPN analyst Adam Schefter tweeted this morning that the interest between Whisenhunt and the Tennessee Titans, who interviewed him last Friday, is “real and it’s viable.” NFL.com reporter Ian Rapaport echoed something similar: “While the #Lions job is clearly attractive, Whisenhunt also feels comfortable with #Titans front office & the city. Something to watch.”

Detroit for sure. I am sure we will have a deal today and the news will be coming out soon. I am pretty stoked about this move as well. I think it is a good fit and I can't wait to see what the lions do next season!

Lions put all their eggs into this basket and now will either overpay greatly or go back to drawing board. I can make this statement because I have been elected from the brotherhood of Lions fans by lionsfan20.

After watching that putrid Offensive game plan yesterday against the Broncos I'd be surprised if he gets a hire. Interviewing with 3 clubs before a playoff game priceless.....
You can try to spin it however you want it he mailed it in for the Bolts heading into this game. Rant over

Whitenhunt is an Idiot.

He must be scared of NFC North.

Awwwwwwwkwaaaaard

@NFL_ATL: Lions sent owner's private plane to San Diego to pick up Ken Whisenhunt today, according to @RapSheet. Whiz did not get on that plane.

Rehire Schwartz. Best Option.

I would look at David Shaw now...

I wasn't thrilled with his offense, but he is a very good coach and leader.

Lions ownership must be that bad that they are deterring options. Or they just don't see the talent, especially at QB.

Rehire Schwartz for a season lol

the Lions would have had the same or possibly even a better record with no coach at all. that team has more talent and top 15 draft picks than any team in the NFC north!!! im a die hard Packer fan and i dont even mind watching the Lions win games (as long as its not against us). they have ALL that talent! they are supposed to win games. ive been expecting them to get to the postseason for 3 years now.

i cant think of a team in the league that is that talented and full of good players that cant make it to the playoffs in the last 3 years. this year with Reggie Bush in the backfield there was no more excuses for schwartz

I can't decide if I am happy about whisenhunt or not but I think you can pencil in a QB in the first or second round.

Lions need to step back and take their time. Caldwell and Kinnock or whoever isn't the road to the promise land.

Bust out the Millions and pay Garden Dungy or Cowher.
