Default Ringside Round 1

Very interested to see what people think at this point with this product. There has been some discussion and an attempt at a group break but I am wondering what you think now. I collect the vintage boxing so I am glad to see this coming and have 2 cases preordered of the KO version. Obviously Muhammed Ali being included is a huge plus. Also two positives have been how Famous Fabrics skyrocketed and the success of the UFC products. I realize UFC has nothing to do with this product but the sports share a good number of fans. I would love to see some of the cuts that will be included since we are a month and a half out but haven't seen anything. Anybody else buying this?

Yeah, if the group break doesn't fill I will like to pick up at least 1 KO box. I wouldn't discount the TKO version either with the potential for the base set gaining value. As a boxing fan I am extremely pleased to see a dedicated boxing set. I know baseball fans were disappointed but 08 Topps Co-signers was a favorite and if you follow boxing at all the names were significant(mostly) and I was hoping it meant Topps would throw their hat in the ring. The only thing I would change with the Ringside release is to mimic the 1951 Topps Ringside design. Not to just outright copy it but take the design elements like it's simplicity and majestic appeal. I always felt the 51' Ringside set was one of the greatest vintage sets of the 50's in terms of eye appeal but I don't quite see the same appeal with this set. There is no doubt that the mem. and autos will drive this set so I will wait for a more detailed checklist. I would like to see more international fighters at least in the memo. subsets.
