Default Panini Replacement Request ?

I have never asked Panini for a replacement and not sure of the process. Is there a better avenue to get results than just calling the 800 number? Is there a certain person to talk to? Like many of us I have been waiting for a Julio Jones rookie auto for 2 years. Its a Prime Signatures Silver to 249..... I really only want to replace the card with an Eddie Lacy Auto of sorts. I feel it is a very fair request as far as a trade in. Do they give you that option? I really only want Lacy or I will continue to wait I guess..... funny they give you an option of 4 or 8 months to redeem.... I dont remember clicking the 2 year tab.......

He answers me promptly everytime. Just be nice about it and let him know you want Lacy. He'll say yes or no and then you make the decision.

Send an email to hobby@paniniamerica.net with your redemption number and a list of players/teams you would to replace it with.

Do they respond before filling tho? I dont want to wind up with Chris Ponder or something like that... I always heard card companies go from book value so I dont know if the book value of the card went down with Julios injury....

They won't tell you in the response what they'll send. Just be very specific that if should have to get a replacement, you would like..."a,b,c, etc". Hope it works out for ya

Sorry to piggyback off your thread man, but does anyone have the email for Topps? I have a similar situation and work the entire time frame their customer service line is open.

Does e-mailing them actually work? I've submitted multiple requests through their online system for replacements-they respond to those almost immediately saying something will be sent out in 3-4 weeks but it's been 2 months now.

I just tried calling... All agents were busy but I could hold for next avail... then a voicemail came on and said to leave a message.... That smelled like something that would never be responded to so I hung up..... Maybe the staff is busy looking for the Contenders SP list that should have been out two weeks ago?

Send an email... Much easier and they will respond.

David's always been pretty solid about returning my e-mails.

Sharp responds on Twitter too (@paninicsm), but I feel like most times he's just pacifying and not acting on your request. I am waiting on an HRX Gold Auto 1/1 that Hackler told me at National last year was almost done, yet here we are almost 6 months later with no true responses on actual progress of the card. I was told in August at National that the player had signed it and Hackler had put the video together and it was down to the construction of the card. I know the Cam Newton HRX took about a year, so maybe the 2012 HRX's are out within the next 1-2 months as well. Frustrating waiting so long to see the best card you've ever hit.
