Default Exquisite Numbers Magnetic touch help

Hey all, I just received my first 09/10 Exquisite Numbers Pieces card (always liked these). However, I went to put it in a magnetic holder and noticed the width/height has a bit of a gap so the card slides around in the Magnetic. Is this normal with these cards? If so, any suggestions besides a toploader? Any help is much appreciated thanks

It seems there is a larger gap between this card and the magnetic than other cards. Not sure if this is a dumb question or not but if someone could help it would be appreciated, thanks.

Wow, thanks for the info. I would be thrilled if this card wasn't trimmed. Is there a better way to protect these?

Toploader just for the sake of not shaking? But i still prefer magnetic. Just put decoy allowance on the gap. Cut the decoy to fit

A quick way to determine if it is trimmed or not is to take another exquisite card of the same year an line it up. Typically, high end sets have cards that are all similar in size. Now I have had instance where I have had patch cards in a low end set be significantly off on height. One card I had was actually too big for the one touch and the other jersey card I had had a gap like your showing. Huge disparity from two cards from the same box. (This was from a low end Upper Deck Baseball, however).

Good luck hope its not trimmed for your sake.

P.S. Please take a few better pictures. Some of the whole card in the case.

Thick cards like that are basically impossible to trim without destroying them from my understanding.

Fold a penny sleeve in half and put it on the bottom of the magnetic. Then put your card on top. It will help minimize the thick stock from sliding around.

If it makes you feel better I have a Flair Legacy card that was horribly miscut from the factory and won't even fit inside of a 1 screw, I am forced to store it in a penny sleeve/top loader Your card might not be trimmed, but rather just came that way.

Yes I do the same always with my Exquisite...and I also put a sleeve one the top of the card, between the card and the upper side of the magnatic.

Several years of Exquisite were notorious for abnormal cuts. Some of the cards won't even fit into those holders because they are too wide.

Don't worry, it's not trimmed. exquisite cards can vary in size.

thanks everybody for taking the time to give me assurance and tips. I will fold a penny sleeve to keep it from sliding. Having heard all of your opinions definitely makes me feel better about the card. Although the gap is difficult to make out (left/top side of toploader), here is a pic of the full card in the magnetic........
